The workshop will introduce students to the engineering design process. As part of the workshop, students will have hands-on experiences using engineering tools, as they develop and model an engineering design concept. The workshop will take place from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm each day at the University at Buffalo’s North Campus in Amherst. All application materials and additional information are available below.
The application for the workshop should include:

- An essay explaining (1) how this workshop can help to prepare the student for a future career (in science or engineering) and (2) how the student expects to contribute to the workshop as an individual (by your character, culture, special talents, …).

Application materials are due by May 15, 2009. Accepted applicants will be notified by May 29, 2009. There is no cost to participants for the workshop.
